So I got this 1984 Yamaha Venture cheap when I was needing another bike. I turned into this. I still have a few more details to work out. The skull on the back has red LEDs in the eye sockets for a brake light. Running light is on the ammo can. I am new to the post-apocalyptic building world. This is my first build. I also just got a 1999 Yamaha R1 that a buddy of mine took apart to get it powder coated but lost interest in. So now I am thinking about doing another build with that R1 but nothing crazy like the venture. Flat olive paint on the fairings, flat black frame and wheels. Might recover the seat with an old army duffle bag like I used on the venture. I do want to add some expanded steel like material on the inlets on the fairings but I'm not sure what I can use that will stay put with a good 2 part epoxy. Just want it to look very tough overall with out changing the overall look of the R1. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
