Hello everyone......I've have been a fan of PA genre for some time, but more importantly I have actually been preparing for close to a decade now. The fiction stuff is fun, and I dont mind discussing it, but at the end of the day if we dont put into practice what we believe then what good are we? I believe that SOMETHING is going to happen to drastically alter our lifestyle and rights worldwide. My personal goal is to prevent myself and loved ones from having to endure the "sting" of this event like the rest of the world. Whatever it takes, I will be prepared. I have been and am currently studying firearms, aquaponics, legacy seeds, sub-teranian structure and building, renewable power (wind turbines, solar, water, and so on), legacy vehicles that run with zero "incoming" electricity, and a lot of other things. I will NEVER go into what I own and what I have done thus far, but I will hapilly provide insight to whatever questions anyone might have, and am eager to learn from others. Happy survivaling everyone!!

Hi,

My name is Rachel and I've just joined this thread. Currently I am ADDICTED to The Walking Dead and frequently blog about the show :-)

I live in Australia and also love organic gardening and self-sufficiency. So, yeah, I'm just biding my time until it all goes to hell in a hand basket ;-)

Mah name was always supposed to be Raven, but when it was taking it grew into ravenss. Now I suppose making ravenss my screen name has grown into rather the bad habit.

I enjoy writing, mainly short horror stories.
I am in love with RP, and anything that may contain RP.
I am a big fan of the Post Apocalyptic world, which I did not know existed until a few years ago when I discovered -22 And Dropping, a post apocalyptic role-playing game on Roblox.

A few of my worst fears:
I am absolutely, uncontrollably afraid of spiders.
I am paranoid that there will be some sort of horrible happenning, such as Jeff The Killer sneaking into my house, or a zombie outbreak.

Th- tha- tha- thas all folks!

I'm The Hanged Man, I stumbled across this site looking for recommendations for postapocalyptic themed stories.

I got into it through Fallout, Mad Max, Book of Eli and a number of zombie films.

The sun beyond the mountain glows
The yellow river seaward flows
You can enjoy a grander sight
By climbing to a greater height

I have run out of places to climb. I will abandon this body and take to the air. We will leave twin vapor trails in the air, white lines etched into these rocks. I am the aerial. In my passing, I will send news to each and every star.

Hi I'm searchforanswers and even tho I am kinda of an young age (14) for as long as I can remember I have always wondered what would be the end of life as we know it. I have a lot of ideas about what may happen to society, government, and the aftermath of an event that causes us to enter a PA world. I also have my own ideas about surviving a PA world, but unfortunately my dad isn't as paranoid as I am about TEOTWAWKI and doesn't really help with prepping.

Hey all,

I'm a writer who has an ongoing series called "The Great Death". Instead of discussing how people start fighting for control as soon as everyone else dies, this series focuses on what happens to the people involved as everyone around them starts to die, and then how that changes how everyone responds afterwards.

The site has several chapters you can read for free to get a feel for the story.

I am Jackalope, in Seattle. My number one tip for the PA world is: Don't worry about having enough toilet paper. The t shirts of the dead will do nicely.

I can't believe I just stumbled across this forum. I found it in a Google search of "Well equipped post apocalyptic warrior".

Hello fellow apocalypse watchers!
I'm a budding author who focuses on the post-apocalyptic genre. I currently have two novels published and available for sale on amazon.com, Darkness Falls and When the Levee Breaks, that are part of an ongoing series (I plan to release the next one within the next year.) My current project, called The Great Consumption, is my own take on the zombie apocalypse genre (alcoholic, junk food eating, rapist zombies anyone?)
Anyway, I'm looking to interact with like minded people in hopes of developing more story ideas and growing my fanbase. Please visit my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Great-Consumption/121153418069278?ref=hl

Welcome everyone, and if you're looking for live chat, check out PA-Chat.com. I'm usually in there during the week, but not as much on weekends.
