well my car finally died, so i went and picked this up for 300 bucks, just needs a transmission , which luckily i have found for another 300 bucks
the best thing about this truck is that it's carbureted and good on gas, so i can actually drive around after the apocalypse :-*
plans so far-
paint it olive drab and black(bumpers and accents)
got a set of white spoked rims that'll be flat black with a set of street tires
lower it as much as possible
paint a red star on the door(want it to look like a Chinese military vehicle)
and a nice loud exhuast
pretty much just going to be my daily with no extreme things going on

The call to arms sounds across the land
heed its call
arm yourselves for times to come
and pray that it will be short

You can not invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Nice truck! I love Nissans. I have a '97 D21, 2wd 5-speed as my daily beater. I often think about making some p/a mods to it.

I was curious why you lowered it for a p/a scenario, but then you lifted it instead, which I think was a good choice. I've thought about lifting mine a hair (like a pre-runner setup) to make room for some slightly beefier tires.

EDIT: To add to the p/a mods I was thinking - I thought about building some sort of custom rollbar/utility rack. I haven't put too much thought into it yet.

Does yours have the Z24 dual-ignition motor?
