what would one suggest for clothing and armor
for a PA??
Think Metro 2033 and Fallout 3 lol

I guess you would need to think about what you can find around the house / looted shops, aim for comfortable clothes designed to last, such as army surplus clothes, scuff them up so they look worn, and don't wash them because no one has washing machines 
Armour is going to be harder, you could go the comedy route and put a saucepan on your head...
