Someone on another forum I view found this link. It's a list of free to the public military manuals dealing with all sorts of things within the US military.
It's a massive list so far and the guy who runs the site is trying to add more as they become available.

There's a lot of stuff that holds no interest for me but for anyone who perhaps owns an ex-military 2.5 ton truck or ex-military generator and wants some servicing or technical manuals, this could be the place to look. There's also a good manual on military ammunition.
