A lot of that would definitely be useful, but I'm sure a lot of the feedback you're going to get is going to be along the lines of "good luck trying to carry all of it on your own".

I would include a Beaman pellet rifle. It has two barrels one .177 cal the other .22 cal. Why a pellet rifle. That particular one is powerful enough to kill a wild hog. Only one downside to it. it's a single shot. So more of a hunting weapon or long range protection. And also more people would be looting fire arm ammo than pellets. other than that i would have maps, compass. first aid kit, and other small survival gear that fit in a back pack. On my side I would have 3 hunting knives one machete. I wouldn't have a GPS because with the fall of man satellites will "eventually" fail.

We talked about that briefly in another thread. Without repositioning signals from the ground, the satellites will wander out of position fairly quickly. I think it was something like a matter of days before the GPS readings start to lose their accuracy.

So yeah, even more so a GPS won't be very useful in the long term.

It's about 3 days last I heard that gps would work. So maps are the best to have.

The call to arms sounds across the land
heed its call
arm yourselves for times to come
and pray that it will be short

You can not invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

GPS and maps go hand in hand. I would never JUST have a GPS under any circumstances, just my .02 - two is one and one is none.

tistine is a troll. No matter what you say, he will find a way to ridicule it. I encourage everyone to simply boycott him. Witness the responses I got from him. He's not worth the effort.
