The other Die2Nite thread is getting pretty long, so I figured I'd start another one. This one will be more for questions about how to actually play the game.
So, first strategy question: In newbie towns they say that everyone should build a tent on day 1, but I hear that's not the case with 100+ towns where they think that the 2ap is better spent scavenging?
Is that correct?

I think I agree with you. Building up the bank with supplies would be better earlier on.

I talk about tent building in one of my videos. No reason to do it on day 1.
On day 11 I posted our water rationing plan. I think it's pretty solid if you can get it implemented far enough in advance.

The town I'm in now supposedly has 30 guys from a town that just went 26 days. So far they have us drinking water every other day. Think I'll learn a lot in this one.

We're now #17 on the list on day 10. It's like a whole different game at this level. I had never been past day 8 before. Free weapon water and teleporting? That stuff is cool.

Hi, found this link from Talenos Odd Park video's.
I'm just starting, but I'm looking for a decent coalition to join sometime if anyone has room. I don't mind waiting if I need to get 100SP first, I'm sure I can manage that eventually ;P
