The call to arms sounds across the land
heed its call
arm yourselves for times to come
and pray that it will be short

You can not invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Hey there, would-be wastelanders. I'm new here, but not to postnuke interests. My strange affair with all things post-apocalyptic began many years ago in the deserts of the American Southwest, and have since grown into something near obsession. Glad I found this place.

That would be the People's Republic of California. Inland Empire area to be a bit more specific.

Hi,
Just found my reading mojo agian after years of avoiding books. Made a start with Day by Day Armageddon by JL Bourne. Wow, im hooked again. Quickly finished the follow up, beyond exile, and im on world war z. Ill smash through that in a day or so. Jumped on here to get some book recommendations for that zombie survival genre, you know, walking dead day by day etc. Loved the journal style of day by day, and the comic book walking dead has been phenomenal up to now. Anyway, nice to meet y'all and hope to be a useful member. Tomi

Hi, everyone. New to the site, and wanted to say hi. Also I wanted to promote my post apocalyptic dating site http://www.savethepearls.com/

The sun's overwhelming rays have driven humanity underground. People are judged by their skin pigmentation. Darker complected people are called Coals and run the society. I'm a Pearl. Barely considered a citizen, I hide my pale hair and skin with a thick, dark coating to avoid torture at the hands of the Coals and to avoid the Heat. I have until I'm 18 to mate with another of my kind or be forced to live without the benefit of the scant resources provided by society. This site helps those of us still un-mated meet and mate. Come meet me and others like me.
