G'Day Clifford,
I'm in a remote corner of Australia so I'm not sure I get the dog reference for Clifford but welcome to the forum!

It is a reference to a series of children's books that have been popular in the US since the 1960's entitled Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Hey everyone, my name is Scott. I live in Canada on Vancouver Island. Looking to start a band of raiders, or to join a credible group.

Hello my name is Karl-Svante. I expect eternal life through the body and the soul's resurrection after the end of the world. so pray for God's mercy and gather as much car scrap parts and weapons. do not forget the shoulder plates and protective equipment that covers the breasts and crotch.

I made a music video for a great band. I play myself not in the band. I believe that video will fall into your taste.

Hello from sweden, I stumbled upon this site some days ago when I was looking around for some post-apocalyptic gear.

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

I guess I should go ahead and do a formal introduction. (havent done one yet because I did not want try to read thro all 19 pages of the intro thread, and still have not read it :0 )

I am 31, live in North Texas, married with 2 kids, and have mentally prepping for PA for about 10 years now. Now that I have some secondary income I am starting my material prepping. In a couple of years I plan on buying some land and building my own house (underground with connex containers). Untill then I will not feel fully prepared for the PA.

I am more focused on the prepping but I do enjoy good discusion on related PA topics.

Thanks and I look foward to conversing with all of you.

Your gonna use shipping containers? If you want it to collapse you can use that sure, or plan to reinforce it like hell. Those things aren't meant to be buried, just stacked on top of each other. One guy that I know how used them said he spent a LOT of time and money on it and it was only partially buried. A dome shaped structure will be able to hold the weight of the dirt and such WAY better.

King: Thank you for the word of caution. I do not, however, take any type of major investment without lots of research. I have taken into count for them to be burried with even with a possible building on top of them.
