So I am planning on getting a S&W M&P15 sporter rifle. It's around $600 in price and I'll have to modify it to my liking.

It'll end up costing closer to $700. They're still pretty fun from what I've heard. An affordable entry-level AR for the thrifty gun owner.

Yup, It'll be nice to get it. I have been looking at a 14.5 "pistol" upper as well. I think that would be cool to have as well.

You should check out the HK416 in .22 instead. Cheaper, around $500, the selector only goes 90 degrees like a real AR, and it's made in Germany by Carl Walther, imported by Umarex. I just need to decide between one of these and a Mare's Leg dammit. I need to go to the dentist and truck needs new shoes or I'd buy both. That's what tax checks are for right?

I'm not getting the gun, it comes with very little. They said to look at delton as they had a ar the same price thaty actually comes with the stuff you need and want on a ar.
