 Fallout 3 fans in Russia
« Thread Started on Jan 17, 2011, 5:48am »

Fallout 3 has a strong following in Russia by the looks of things, the following sites deal with a LARP group and a photo thread showing how to make one of the laser rifles from the game. They may not have a desert to play in but they make up for it with the number of people and a good effort on the costumes.

Fallout has a strong following, most of the stuff they had was for the first to games. They were talking about New Reno, that's from the originals. I had a link that showed the step by step making of a laser rifle, the guy was commissioned by Bethesda to make them one to. As well as some other weapons to I think. But it's still cool, I wish that the US had larpers like this instead of the..... other ones....

heed its call
arm yourselves for times to come

Well, US does have that giant Mad Max festival, at least.

They have more abandoned places than the US does, I wish we hand more such places.

Are you sure you'd want to be alive after something like that?

Of course! Cause I'd be the freaking king! Come in, come in, have some fresh food and water and grab a gun!

Convo between myself and my English teacher.

Wasteland Weekend isn't much and is pretty much just Mad max themed. It is nothing like what the Fallout larpers do either from what I can tell. And it basically the only event that I know of that is PA themed in the US.

Burning Man, while not a PA event still draws a number of PA themed exhibits and fans

Burning man isn't a all any one thing event though. I would like to go to both events, and I will probably end up going in my Caprice when I do go.

Ba dum bum.

Having just come back from Detroit... you're right. It honestly reminded me of Gotham in a lot of places.

All I can say is thats a bunch of Fallout nerds at once. Neat, neat, I mean neat idea! Wish I could be apart of the RPG world, my only complaint is where is the Armored Vault suit?!?

In those days....everything we once knew is gone, but the beauty of a broken world is still seen. Life has meaning....when every little thing we think is so dare to use fades away, and we for the first time again since ages that have passed...see our world in the view of a child.
