The trailer for this one has been around for a while, but this is the first time I've seen it with sub-titles so it makes a lot more sense now. It looks like it could be really cool.
As far as I can tell, it comes out in Germany on September 22nd. Still trying to find out when it might hit the US, if at all. We may have to wait for the disc release.

Yeah, the german Wikipedia also says that it started at the 22nd here. And you know what? Except through you, I never heard from it

The review on QuietEarth.us says it's really good. I can't wait to see it when it comes out over here.

I finally met someone who saw it  According to him, it was just one week in the theaters here (being a "small" movie etc.), that's probably why I didn't notice it.

Finally saw it! Thanks to lovefilm for having this movie!
It was certainly well-made, I liked it technically (cinematography, sound design, music, etc.). It was always exciting and I was really surprised when the movie ended ("already?!"). The story and characters where good, but not actually something new - it was kind of a blend of 28 Days Later, Zombieland, The Book of Eli and The Road. No surprise that I liked it, since I liked all of these movies a lot, too!
So: not a must-see gem of post-apocalyptic film culture, but definitely fine to watch. I have no idea how the english dub is, but the German actors were great.

Watched this a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Might interest some to know that the whole film (English dubbed) is on youtube, i watched it through my tivo box. I'll be buying the DVD as soon as i spot it.

I bought the Australian released DVD two months or so back because it wasn't ever going to get a cinema release here.
It has English subtitles but even that didn't detract from the quality of the movie. I liked it a lot and found it a more interesting film than some of the Hollywood produced stuff.
