I would love to visit there myself, but I bet the experience won't be the same in a few years. It would only be really cool if it remained basically empty. If it's too popular it might lose that.

Here's a website for one company in the Ukraine that does guided tours of the Chernobyl Zone http://tourkiev.com/chernobyltour/
If you get booked in to fill up the numbers of a large group, you can get the tour for quite a low price. The videos on the site are worth watching too as they go into some areas not on the tour such as the giant radar station Duga 3, AKA The Russian Woodpecker. P.S. The site that has the Duga 3 pics also hosts images of many other abandoned places and objects.

I am getting a woody just thinking about it, I know it's a shitty thing to say but I kinda wish three mile had gone. Though it wouldn't have been as interesting a place as Pripyat.
