I found this at CNN and posted it up on my blog, pretty interesting. Now how long time someone makes Pripyat into PA convention place.

I would love to visit there myself, but I bet the experience won't be the same in a few years. It would only be really cool if it remained basically empty. If it's too popular it might lose that.

I doubt it will become that popular, its still has radiations after all. It will be interesting to see what people do with it now though.

Here's a website for one company in the Ukraine that does guided tours of the Chernobyl Zone

If you get booked in to fill up the numbers of a large group, you can get the tour for quite a low price.
The videos on the site are worth watching too as they go into some areas not on the tour such as the giant radar station Duga 3, AKA The Russian Woodpecker.

I am getting a woody just thinking about it, I know it's a shitty thing to say but I kinda wish three mile had gone. Though it wouldn't have been as interesting a place as Pripyat.
