Your post-apocalyptic survival kit? « Thread Started on Oct 9, 2011, 11:43pm »
The U.S. and including the whole world just went through a major war that brought the earth into a apocalypse. Now the earth is left as a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You are a survivor (male or female) that was taking refuge in a underground shelter, you have a working radio, a comfortably bed and a large supplies of food to last you a year. You've been down there for months and the radio you had stopped brocasting any local stations.
You realize now, that you are cut off from the outside world and you assume it most be like this all over the place. Realizing this gives you the decision that you must leave this place, and find out what has happen to your home town. However, you need to take along a survival kit so you start a list of things to bring along your journey.
Ok heres how you play this, your creating your own survival kit that I'll create a numbered lsit that you must fill in your own answers.
Rules: 1. To get this started someone must take the effect to reply to this. 2. Please fill in the numbered list I'll create for you. However you do have the power to create some extra options in your list. 3. Please leave out discussions/arguments about religion due to peoples personal items they choose. 4. Keep it clean and have fun surviving!

1. Gender (Male or female)?
2. Your post-apocalyptic Country? (U.S.A./Whatever)
3. Your post-apocalyptic State? (optionable)
4. Your background skills?

5. (Inside your pack) Hazmat supplies?
6. (Inside your pack) Recreational/engineering supplies?

In those days....everything we once knew is gone, but the beauty of a broken world is still seen. Life has meaning....when every little thing we think is so dare to use fades away, and we for the first time again since ages that have passed...see our world in the view of a child.

The decision on what to take would be contingent upon what is available in the underground shelter, wouldn't it? Is this a shelter I built some time ago and stocked myself or was it something I happened to find or what? Or is this more of a "wish list" type of exercise?

You be the judge, there is no limits or details in your decision that matters. Either you look at this as a"wish list" type of exercise? Or you play it like its logically correct based of what the shelter had. Use your imagination of what the shelter had if you have to be very logical or play it like a "wish list".
And in the list if you wish to not fill in some of the number items, also up to you.
Its more meant as a "wish list" type of exercise? The shelter stuff was just to put in a interesting mood to start the events of a PA situation. Also heres another point of view, there is many different type of shelters out there. Some are actually a underground house or some might be actually a military underground shelter therefore you may have a lot of inventory to pick from.
This exercise will work out only if its kept to the list and remember "key thing in the rules"....However you do have the power to create some extra options in your list. Also if this post doesn't turn into spam then things should work out.

Yeah I failed to put those in the list. Got a tons of room to put those in my pack. If you got some to spare, why not. Besides I'll just trade for more ammo or pick some up from raiders/crazy people along the away.
Oh speaking of weapons, let me change something.
P.S. I've fired a Sig Pistol before.
