Hey Everyone,
In celebration of the Post-Apocalyptic Forum nearing the milestones of 100 members and 2500 posts, I decided to have a giveaway contest.
The prize will be Life After People: The Series--The Complete Season One on DVD, a whopping $29 value. (The set has been opened, but never watched.)
The contest is open to all active members of the forum, and to prove your active'ness, all you need to do is post a reply to this thread.
The winner will be the person with the closest guess to a random number between 1 and 1000, that I have generated. (One guess per person.)
To make sure that no one can call shenanigans, the winning number is in a text file in an encrypted zip file that you can download from here.
After all the guesses have been submitted, I'll release the password, and everyone can see what the winning number is.
I'm going to accept guesses for two weeks, so the winner will be announced on Friday, August 27.
All you lurkers, now would be a great time to take the plunge and register!
