Tonight's episode was certainly momentous. Looks like the number of possible candidates is shrinking fast.

I want answers! Where I am I cannot get hulu stuff so I have to resort to "other methods" and just started to get throttled, I am not a happy camper.[spoiler] I don't know why, but I didn't like that the Quans are all done now.[/spoiler]

I put a spoiler tag in the post title, so I think we can talk freely.
It was kind of a quick end for both Sayid and the Kwons. But I guess with only three or four hours to go they need to pack in the story.
The final hands shot of the Kwons was pretty well done I thought. And it wasn't even the thud scene. I was hoping they'd get a silent thud like a couple other characters have gotten, but I guess it's not the same if it's not at the end of the show.
At least we seem to know for sure which side is good and which side is evil.

Yeah, it seems like we're still so far away from knowing everything we want to, and there's only 4.5 hrs left. Did you see that they extended the finale to 2.5 hrs? I'm glad ABC let them do that or for sure it would have been crammed in.
But in that same article, the producers of the show said something about the finale opening new questions. That part kinda sucks. I don't want questions, I want closure.

I want to know/end that flash "sideways" stuff.
An explanation of the islands "powers" if any would be nice. Are they all dead/underwater from that atom bomb scene? If I sit here and think there is so many more questions I want answered.

I want to go on record with my predictions for the final scene of the finale. My first thought was that we'll see unLocke and Jack sitting on a beach as the two enemies, and unLocke looks at him and says "You don't know how much I want to kill you."
But what I'd love to see is unLocke winning the final confrontation, and the final scene is Jack dying, with a closeup of Jack's eye closing. That would be a total bookend to the very first scene of the show with the shot of Jack's eye opening.
And it would also end the show with new unanswered questions of whether unLocke getting off the island really would cause the end of the world or not.

Ok, I didn't get all the circumstances right, but I called that final camera shot of Jack's eye. That was an amazing finale; totally satisfying.

Now I don't know what to watch next. Maybe I'll catch up on all the Capricas I have saved on the DVR, or finally get around to watching Firefly on Neflix.

That's why I never put much effort into trying to watch it, I didn't know if it had a satisfying conclusion being cancelled mid-season. But since it's free on Netflix streaming I figure I might as well give it a try.

The episodes are easily enjoyable without the big resolution... and I guess the movie resolves a lot, if not the main plot.

It was a good and probably the only mainstream way they could have ended the show. A complete explanation of the islands power and such would only incite the epic geek rage.

It was a satisfying finale but can I say I'm kind of relieved to have this overblown saga finished at last? I lost interest some time ago but had to keep watching because I'd invested so much time and emotion in it. Had to see what happened to everybody--particularly my favorite, Ben, who swung like a pendulum between good and evil. I loved the metaphysical aspects of this show. I think many of us early on knew that the island was a place akin to limbo/purgatory where these people had to work out their crap before they could move on to the next level of being.
And as for Ben not being ready to join the gang in the happy, happy hereafter. I totally loved that. He knew he wasn't ready, he knew he still had work to do on himself. Yay for conflicted characters like Ben with all their messy gray areas.
